There are three sections in Ocean Township– Wayside, Oakhurst and Wanamassa. Wanamassa and Oakhurst are the sections that are closest to the Atlantic Ocean. Ocean Township is close, but is not located on the Atlantic Ocean. There are 2 main north/south roads in Ocean Township, Route 18 and Route 35, and the Garden State Parkway is very close. An abundance of shopping and dining is also near.

 Ocean Township has six condo / townhouse complexes, with a wide assortment of housing available. All condo / townhouse communities in Ocean Township are located in Wayside.

 

Ocean Township is part of the Ocean Township School District, which serves students in grades K - 12 in both Loch Arbour and Ocean Township. There are three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
