Hazlet  is located in the northern section of Monmouth County. Routes 35 & 36 pass through Hazlet, and along with the nearby Garden State Parkway, the roads provide easy transportation to the Jersey Shore, shopping, dining, NYC and points north and south. Bus transportation is available with many bus stops, and NJ Transit has a train station in Hazlet.

The Hazlet School System educates children in grades K-12. There are six elementary schools (K-6), one middle school (grades 7-8), and grades 9-12 will attend Raritan High School.
